Weezer are almost done with their sixth record. The album still needs to be mastered yet they have already chosen the first single.

The currently untitled album will be out in June and singer Rivers Cuomo has given us a fun little puzzle to decode what the first new Weezer song to hit radio will be. "I think I know which song is the first single but I’m not sure so I can’t tell you. I’ll give you some hints, though. It’s one word, starts with a T, ends with an R and contains twelve letters. You should be able to figure it out because you’re smart li’l Weezer fans," Cuomo said in a post on the band's Web site.

Are you wondering what album number six will sound like? Cuomo decribes it as, "meaty, crunchy and melodic like a good Weezer album should be."

The genereal consenus seems to be that Weezer have yet to release an album that most of their hard-core fans love as much as their first two efforts, The Blue Album and Pinkerton. Could their sixth be their best? Discuss in the comments below!
