Bayside will be heading to the studio in June to let the creative juices flow and create their fifth full-length album.

As of now the record is titled Shudder and is due out September 30.

Singer Anthony Raneri spoke about the upcoming disc in a recent statement: "I think we know what Bayside is supposed to sound like. We have figured it out and we don't plan on changing the formula. We love what we've become and we can only hope to get better at what we do. We have the most time we've ever had to prepare for this record from the writing process to the recording process but we want to be sure not to overthink the songs and let them sound the way they were meant to sound. It is going to be the fastest, most energetic, catchiest and most exciting record we have ever made. We are feeling youthful and excited as people and I think it is going to come out in the music."

The band will also be re-releasing a gold edition of their 2007 release "The Walking Wounded" on July 22. What's so special about this re-release you ask?

For starters, the CD will feature live acoustic tracks to be recorded during their performance at Looney Tunes Records in Long Island on May 12. Do you live near this music shop? You can attend the exclusive acoustic set and be part of music history!

A DVD featuring all of their music videos from The Walking Wounded will accompany the CD. Also on the DVD will be the full performance from Looney Tunes as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the band on its spring 2008 tour with The Starting Line. Sounds killer!
