Saves the Day and Say Anything have taken their relationship one step further — an all-star group called Two Tongues.

You read that right! Saves the Day singer Chris Conley and guitarist Dave Soloway have been making sweet music together with Say Anything singer Max Bemis and drummer Coby Linder. Conley and Bemis will take control of vocals and guitar, respectively, with Soloway moving to bass and Linder sticking to the skins. The awesome foursome plans to have an album available online as soon as this summer, and touring is in the works for the fall.



Buzznet spoke directly with Linder about the project, which he described as "a combo of Saves the Day, Say Anything and Foo Fighters. It's awesome."

Although a track list has yet to surface, Linder talked to Buzznet about two songs on the album: "There's a song called 'Crawl' that we will be releasing soon, and it's probably going to be the first song on the record. It's the first song we wrote for the project."

And what about cover songs? Will Two Tongues be bringing out some tunes from the past? "We do a cover of a Ween song on it," Linder revealed. "It was very last minute. We didn't even think we were going to pull it off in the time we had, but we got it done, and it's probably one of my favorite covers I've ever recorded (besides when Say Anything covered 'Jesse and My Whetstone' by Saves the Day ... ironic, huh?)."

You can catch Say Anything on the Warped Tour all summer, while Saves the Day will be busy recording their eighth full-length album.
