I am proud to announce DJ Rossstar's Unsigned Band Contest II.

For the next two weeks, I will accept MP3s from any and all unsigned artists. After listening to every single one, I will be choosing my top 10 favorites with the help of both Chad Sugg (Backseat Goodbye) and Elisa Jordana (ex-Cobra Starship). The submission deadline is Friday, May 23.

The final 10 will be listed on a poll I will create on Buzznet.com. They will each have until Friday, June 6, to get as many fans as possible to vote for them. The poll has been set up so each individual person can only vote once.

The winner will receive:

A 15-minute live interview on my Thursday, June 11 radio show, two of your tracks played on the same show and gear from both Pyknic Clothing and Krowne Fashion.

The two runners up will receive:

A 5-minute live interview on my Thursday, June 11 radio show and 1 of your tracks played on the same show.

The winner of last year's winner of DJ Rossstar's Unsigned Band Contest was Dropout Year from Owings Mills, Maryland. The band went on to play some large concerts and was featured in Alternative Press Magazine.
