Less Than Jake won't release its seventh studio album, GNVFLA, until June 24 ... but the band will give you a free download of its new single right now.



"Does the Lion City Still Roar?," a horn-driven and dance-tastic tune that is reminiscent of the band's earlier work, is officially yours in mp3 form — and there are more goodies on the way from LTJ!

June 16, get off the computer and head to the local record shop to pick up the "Roar" single on 7'' vinyl. It comes with a B-side track called "All Time Low" ... although it is unknown at this time as to whether the song pokes fun at Alex Gaskarth and the boys. On the same day, you can buy an Itunes exclusive digital download bundle that comes with "Roar," "All Time Low" and a demo version of "Handshake Meet Poker Face."

Buzznet recently caught up with Less Than Jake saxophonist Peter "JR" Wasilewski, who revealed some secrets about GNVFLA and gave us the rundown of his favorite LTJ records.
