Say Anything Drummer to Teach YOU How to Play Drums ... In Person
Why take drum lessons from a washed-up hack, when you can learn from one of the biggest drummers in the rock scene today — Coby Linder from Say Anything.

The band just finished an entire summer on Warped Tour and now that Linder is back home in Los Angeles, he wants to dedicate some of his time to teaching you how to bang the skins ... Just don't become better than him, or the rest of Say Anything may kick him out of the band.
"I'm reaching out to all of the aspiring drummers (in the Los Angeles area out there) that maybe listen to our songs and say to themselves "what the hell is Coby doing right there? How is he so good?' Well today's your lucky day! I'm offering my body and my time for the next few months to give drum lessons at a reasonable price. We basically have until the end of the year before we start writing our next record (which will be awesome), so I'm down to teach some kids a trick or two. and who knows ... maybe you guys could help me write some drum parts for a new song. HA HA!" Linder announced on the band's MySpace page.
If you want to contact Linder about prices and setting up lessons, you can email him (cobes66@hotmail.com) or MySpace him (myspace.com/movethebeans). Make sure you write 'drumming lessons' in the subject and where in SoCal you live. This is a great opportunity, so it may be worth locating for the experience ... just think of all the Say Anything songs you can learn on drums before you start your Say Anything cover band.
Earlier this month, Say Anything singer Max Bemis announced that he would be recording personalized songs for anyone who paid him $150 and provided him with some material to work with.
If you took drum lessons from Linder, what songs would you want him to teach you? What are some of your favorite songs to play on the drums (or "Rock Band" drums)? Do you think Linder's drum lessons is a great idea or a lame one?
