Zebrahead Cancel U.S. Tour; Release Statement on Singer's Vocal Situation
Fans across the U.S. will be devistated to hear that Zebrahead's September tour with Civet and Jet Lag Gemini has been cancelled ... But the reason behind it is

"Hey guys ... sorry about this ... in order for us to make sure that [singer] Matty [Lewis] doesn't cause permanent damage to his voice we are having to postpone the U.S.A. tour. The Doc said we have pushed him too hard. Matty wanted to play the dates anyways, but it would be a horrible risk so we told him we can make it up to the U.S.A. He was pissed at our decision, but we don't want him to have permanent damage to the vocal chords so SORRY U.S.A. This will be re-scheduled ... The word of the day is 'bummed' ... the way I feel! ...We will be able to resume touring again with the UK/Europe Tour in October. Once again SORRY GUYS THIS SUCKS!" the band explained in a recent MySpace blog.
The SoCAL rockers released their fourth full-length, Phoenix, last month and the band recently appeared on DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show to play some tracks from Phoenix and answer questions from die-hard fans.
