Green Day Punk Up Simpsons SongPop-Punkers Green Day will be covering the famous theme song from The Simpsons TV show for The Simpsons Movie due out July 27th 2007.
There is not word yet on if Green Day's version of the song will contain lyrics or not. (either way it will be amazing!) The single will be released on July 24th 2007 and, according to Spin, will be released as a regular CD single, a CD single in a limited edition, 25,000 copies only, pink doughnut case and as part of a digital score album. (I will be getting the song in all 3 forms!)
