Farewell Cancel Fall U.S. Tour for Studio Time
Farewell has announced the cancellation of their November tour ... but you will be pleased with what the band has decided to do instead. Any

"Unfortunately, we have to cancel the tour we had planned in November with ACursive Memory. We are just as bummed as you guys are going to be, but we promise you it is for a good reason," the band wrote in a recent MySpace blog. "We have made plans to enter the studio with our buddy Marc Mcclusky (Hit The Lights, Ludo, Allister) in January to begin working on our new record! We had to cancel our plans in November because Marc is going to come down to good ol' North Carolina to begin pre-production with us. We are very excited about this and we hope that you are too! We will be hitting the road soon after we finish the record in the U.S. for sure, so don't sweat it!"
The powerpop band released their debut full-length, Isn't This Supposed to Be Fun, back in late 2007. Recently, keyboardist Chris Lee left the band for "romantic and monetary stability" and the band still hasn't found a permanent keyboardist to join the band.
