Green Day Producer Announced!?Green Day have worked on all of their albums since Dookie with producer Rob Cavallo (except for Warning which they produced themselves) and have always put out succesful albums.
Therefore, I will take these piece of news as only a rumor. In an interview with BBC, singer Courtney Love reveals that Linda Perry will be producing the new Green Day album. "This is my best record. Corgan's on it from the (Smashing) Pumpkins, and Linda Perry - who out of my record got the Green Day record. That's a scoop - I just gave that away with my big mouth," Love said. In the past, Perry has helped write and produce hit songs for artists like Gwen Stefani, Pink and Christina Aguilera.
