Musicians Reveal Their Favorite Live Performers

In response to my video message from Monday about music and lyrics, New Atlantic, Lorene Drive, The Fold and Treaty Of Paris have written to Buzznet about their favorite live performers.

Gio From New Atlantic

MUSE - Probably the best live band I have ever seen... a thousand times better than the record & I literally stood there in awe.

U2 - Bono has so much passion in his performance... I can't think of a better frontman.

The Working Title - Again, one of the best live bands I have ever seen... So tight & Joel sings amazing every night... they don't get the credit they deserve.

LD From Lorene Drive

The Juliana Theory-on point

Taking Back Sunday-high energy and tight

The Mars Volta- they never fail to impress people

Dan From The Fold

Prince, - no explanation needed.

Billie Joe Armstrong - because he has an amazing energy about him.

Gwen Stefani - because girl singers are hot.

Treaty Of Paris

Brandon - Our Lady Peace @ Metro in Chicago. It was one of my first shows ever. They basically put on an arena show in a 1100 person room.

Phil - Sonic Youth @ Double Door Aug. 2006 in Chicago, IL. I never really got into Sonic Youth, but after seeing them live I fully understood why people love them. The venue held 500 people, and I was able to go up to the front of the stage. They created noises on guitars I never heard live.

Dan - Green Day at UIC Pavilion in Chicago. Do I need to say anything else? Hands down the best arena show I have ever scene. DJ Rossstar would back me up on this one.
