New Jersey's Steel Train have been busy in Los Angeles recording the follow-up to 2005's "Twilight Tales From the Prairies of the Sun"

CMJ confirms that the band's second album is scheduled for an October release on Drive-Thru Records.  There is currently no new name for the record (any suggestions?) although it is known that Mark Trombino (Rilo Kiley, Jimmy Eat World) has served as their producer on it.

Steel Train are headed out on a long tour that will keep them busy through September with The Format.
