Five songs that changed my life with Billytalentrocks

Fan Submission

http://billytalentrocks.buzznet.com/user/

Fall Out Boy
Sugar We're Going Down

This song was the first song that I heard off the FUCT cd. I can listen to it over and over again without getting tired of it. I can listen to it no matter what I feel like. The video is absolutely awesome.

Blink 182
Reckless Abandon

This song is fast, and I love Toms voice in it. It reminds me of a typical high school guy. Even though the guys in my grade will never get laid. Not by me, anyways.

Fall Out Boy
I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Keep Your Mouth Shut

The lyrics to this songs are just so original. Its very emotional. And sometimes I can relate to this song, most of the time I feel like a dead end, like I just can't get it right, like everyones one step ahead of me and so I push myself harder sometimes. Or I get so fed up I give up.

Angels And Airwaves
The Adventure

I like this song because I think its Tom reaching out to Mark and Travis, telling them that he regrets some of the things he did, that hes sorry. I like this song because it can put me to sleep, and I have insomnia and no other song can do that. This is the only song where I ever feel sorry for Tom.

Joy Division
Love Will Tear Us Apart

This is one of my all-time favourite songs. I dont care if its covered by The Cure, or Fall Out Boy, all the covers are great. It was written by a guy that was planning to commit suicide, and even though Im not exactly suicidal, sometimes feel like I can understand the lyrics well.

So Wrong, It's Right

The time I had Vanilla Ice on my radio show was a "so wrong, it's right" experience. He obviously doesn't fit the format of my radio show and half of my listeners were too young to remember him...but just for the memories I couldn't pass on the opportunity to have him in the studio. It was more hilarious than I could have imagined. I had a good time with the ice man. That's my story. Oh, and the time All Time Low came on my show when they were still in 11th grade~!

I relate so much to this song. It's serious, I love it so much. I remember I heard it the first time and I just knew that Panic! was my favorite band. Finally, someone understood me, you know? I had a lot of pronlems, and this song helped me a lot.

My Chemical Romance

Back in the Day: Rednex - "Cotton Eye Joe"

The year was 1994 and the song "Cotton Eye Joe" was everywhere. A mix between country music and eurodance, this group was actually manufactured by a bunch of producers in Sweden. None of the actual members of the band were playing their instruments or singing. The music was recorded by studio musicians. It was all for show.

The song launched a new dance craze and managed to climb it's way up to # 25 on the Billboard charts in 1995. I admit to owning their 1995 album "Sex and Violins."

Click the photo to watch the video for "Cotton Eye Joe."

Where are they now?

Rednex' success has continued overseas since they hit it big in 1994. They have released a whole bunch of singles, an album in 2000 and even managed to re-record "Cotton Eye Joe" for an updated 2002 version. The group is still together today, although 11 different members have come and gone.

Rock N Roll Therapy: National Product

Have you ever considered leaving your boyfriend for your celebrity crush? Are you confused about your sexuality and aren't sure who to turn to? Nervous about a friend who may harm himself? It's tough for anyone to face these problems alone. This is why Danny from National Product has returned to give you a shoulder to lean on as well as some unbiased advice. Check out this Rock N Roll Therapy.

Booyakashaabby: Okay, I have this boyfriend named Simon, and I guess he's okay. He's nice, sweet, sensitive, but lets face it. He's no Alex Gaskarth. I am head over heels in love with Alex, and I have pictures of him all over my room, locker, you name it. Well, Simon doesn't appreciate this and gets really mad at me! I try to tell him that it's only because Alex is more perfect, but Simon just gets even more mad! Can someone help me change my boyfriend into Alex Gaskarth, please?

Danny: Ready for this answer? I am...first off. No one is perfect and it’s totally unfair to put your boyfriend through that. If you feel there is someone much better than him, you should be the better person and let your boyfriend find someone who will appreciate him in the capacity that he deserves. On one hand he should understand that Alex is someone you have a "celebrity" crush on, and you in a sense "come home" to your boyfriend at the end of every day, but to rub it in his face and even tell him that someone else is MORE PERFECT than him takes balls and is pretty harsh. I always live my life with the "do unto other as you would like to be done to you" It means treat people how you wish to be treated.

Kerstieatworld: This is a bit awkward, so I'm hoping that none of my friends/people I know read this. Anyway. Like most teenagers, you get to a point where you start to wonder what sexuality you are. Hetro-, bi- or homo-sexual. The thing is, I don't feel like I'm neither. It's hard to explain, and please don't laugh at me. I like boys, in the way that I'm attracted to them. But as soon as it gets below the waist, I'm completely turned off. and as for girls, I'm not attracted to them (in the same way as to boys) except below the waist. I feel so f-ed up. No pun intended. but seriously, what would you call that? Half-bi?

Danny: I think depending on your age, you are still finding what you like and what feels right. Like everything in life, your gonna fall on your face a couple of time in the process of finding all the little things that will eventually make you YOU. Don't feel like your messed up just because you don't know yet. That's completely ok. Another thing to remember is that due to you not knowing exactly what you like yet, you need to sample things within reason and try things out that your feeling. Your heart and your gut never lie. Chin up and enjoy your life just be smart & safe.

Em0pants99: So..I was kinda friends with this guy I used to work with, and I found out he liked me, but I REEEEEEEEEALLLLLY liked one of his best friends, so then I was like, "you know what? Bob doesn't like me, so I'll just go over here and flirt with Fernando. We flirted A LOT on the phone, and after awhile, I was like..."okay, I can't do this anymore. I don't like you like that. He wouldn't talk to me for a week. A couple of days later, he sent me a forward, and it said something about love. I was all, "we can't be anything more than friends, but I promise we'll stay friends forever, k?" So..then I find out, his ex-gf got a restraining order against him, and he tried to kill himself by driving off a cliff. It kinda freaked me out when I found this out. How should I react? Should I still be friends with him?

Danny: Clinger stage 5. That's no good. People get weird with love. I think there are people out there that genuinely want to love people and there are people who think that love will fix their problems. Those people usually break down and freak out when love leaves them or doesn't work out because they base their entire self worth around another person. I have always believed that you need to have your priorities in life. There is only one person above me, and I look up for that. Then, I come #1 all the way across the board, then family, friends and so on and so forth. I think friends means sticking it out thru thick and thin. A great saves the day lyrics once said..."I choose my company, by the beating of their hearts and not the swelling of their heads." If he gets weirder and you feel threatened or responsible for something he may do then it would be best to end it.

Blackparadegirl: Okay..so for a little less than a year, this kid Kyle, has been tormenting me and my friends whenever and where ever we go. Whenever he and his friends see us they scream things similar to "f---ing emo" "die" whatever else he can think of. We have never talked to him or his friends personally and they have no reason to hate us. Today they took it a step too far. Me and a friendwere sitting at benches we usually sit at in town and we see them driving past, no other cars in sight and he gets up in the sun roof and screams "we dont f---Ing care!" and throws something at us, I ducked and it hit Nikki pretty much directly in the stomach.I don’t understand why they have such a problem with us. Nikki decides that the best thing to do is respond by beating the s--t out of him. I don’t think tha’ts a great idea....what the f--k are we gonna do???

Danny: Haha, this was a good read. Your genuinely pissed off and rightfully so. I think these dudes wanna hook up with you guys. When I was in kindergarten, I used to beat the crap out of the chick I had a crush on. It’s either that, or these dudes are really messed up. You should never have to question solving a problem that makes you feel threatened and you never solve any problems with violence. Violence begets more violence. Look at our President. He is not sending our youngest and finest to Iraq for peace. I know that is what they feed us all day long but its more a much different purpose and they are using violence to get what they want. I’m getting carried away, so to settle it, call the cops and let him know you mean business.

Have a personal issue? Would you like to get some advice from a musician?   Post your situation in the Rock N Roll Therapy Group

Five songs that changed my life with Sirritwist

Fan Submission

http://sirritwist.buzznet.com/user/

Metallica
One

The first time I heard this was through the wall from my brothers room. After that I continuously heard it whenever he played it. In the car, fromm his room. Everywhere. It always reminds me of my family oddly enough. And it has such a cool video to go along with it, I never really fully grasped the concept of the song until I saw the video.

My Chemical Romance
Famous Last Words

No. this song didn't save my life, in fact no song ever has. But every time I hear this I feel more hopeful and it never fails to remind me of January 2007. Good times.

Fall Out Boy
A Little Less 'Sixteen Candles', A Little More 'Touch Me'

This was the second song that I had heard by Fall Out Boy but it still remains one of my favourites. just everything abou it really, the lyrics, the video. It always makes me smile to see vampire Pete. and the song almost always puts me in a good mood.

Timbaland (featuring Patrick Stump)
One And Only

I'm not really a fan of Korn. I've heard maybe three of their songs, but I love this one. I was obsessed with this song and 'I Write Sins Not Tradgedies' when I went to New York last year (weird combination I know) And it was such an amazing experience flying halfway across the world and I think of it when I hear this song.

Jimmy Eat World
Hear You Me

God. I love Patrick voice so much and I think Timbaland is pretty cool, so I had to get this song when I first heard about it. When I first got it I listened to it about forty times in like the first three days. Its so catchy and Patrick's voice is so amazing in this, I'm actually listening to this right now ^^.

TV Back In The Day: The Golden Palace

Sure, most people are familiar with the late 80's TV sitcom The Golden Girls -- but how many can say they are familiar with the short-lived spinoff The Golden Palace.

Airing on CBS for only one season (1992-1993), The Golden Palace found Golden Girls Rose, Blanche and Sophia running an upscale hotel. Popular Golden Girl Dorothy (Bea Arthur) did not appear on the show.  Instead we were graced by the presence of wonder actor Don Cheadle (the hotel manager) -- Remember him from Oceans Eleven through Thirteen, Crash and Boogie Nights? We also can't forget Cheech Marin as the chef.

Unfortunately, all 24 episodes of The Golden Palace are not (yet) on DVD. Thank you for being a friend.

Five songs that changed my life with Teenagequeen

Fan Submission

http://teenagequeen.buzznet.com/user/

From First To Last
Waltz Moore

I chose this song because I could totally relate to every lyric in this song. It made me feel better about myself in a strange way.

Smashing Pumpkins
Zero

Again this one is pretty depressing in a way but I agree with the lyrics and when I first heard this song it really hit home for me. And the Pumpkins are such unsung heroes of modern music and they deserve a lot more recognition.

AFI
God Called In Sick Today

This song is so emotional and even though I don't really understand the lyrics you can feel the emotion in Davey Havok's voice as he sings this. It's really inspirational.

Angels And Airwaves
The Adventure

This song is just so amazing. It's happy and sad at the same time. It makes me feel good when I listen to this when I am down and the lyrics are so life-affirming and epic it certainly changed my life.

Jimmy Eat World
Hear You Me

- This song is so sad and has a story to it which is really beautiful. It reminds me of good times. And plus it was on "A Cinderella Story"! Haha!

Back in the Day: Sister Sister

Do not adjust your eyes because you are not seeing double.

Sister, Sister was a TV sitcom about twin sisters who were separated at birth and adopted by different parents. Fourteen years later the girls (Tia and Tamera) meet in the mall by chance. Tamera's father Ray invites both Tia and her mother Lisa to live with them and thus the show is born.

Tia can be described as an all American bookworm while Tamera is the polar opposite. Sister, Sister  aired from 1994-1999 (first on ABC and later The WB.) The show is still shown in syndication on different networks.

Good Charlotte
Hold On

I have loved Good Charlotte for four years straight and there music always inspires me but "hold on" saved my life. It helped me through the roughest times in my life.

Starting Line
Best Of Me

The starting line is an amazing band. When i first heard and saw this video and song, I fell in love with it. It felt like I was inside of the video. More that I wanted to be inside of it.

Rancid
Fall Back Down

I love this video and song sooooo much. It gives me hope in a friendship. It tells me excatly what a friend should be like. I need someone like that, to pick me back up again. It helped me to make a really big decision in my life.

Fall Out Boy
I've Got A Dark Alley And A Bad Idea That Says You Should Shut Your Mouth

This song describes exactly how I feel alot of the time. I know its so depressing but its just how it is. It chills me out when im mad or upset and it makes me cry when i need to. Its the perfect solution to anything. When i listen to it, it makes me feel so much better.

Brand New
The Boy Who Blocked His Own Shot

At first I didnt understand this song, but after i listened to it, it just stuck with me. I listened to the words and it was so sad but yet so true to how I feel. Once when i was really upset, I played it over and over again, wanting to feel better. It made me cry but then gave me hope.

Five songs that changed my life with fobsaveslives

Fan Submission

http://fobsaveslives.buzznet.com/user/

RENT
I'll Cover You (Reprise)

That whole show just completely made me forget about every bad thing that ever happened to me and start thinking about helping others.

Fall Out Boy
Hum Hullelujah

This band may be poppy on some occasions, but the bitterly true lyrics force you to relate to them. When you go through something really tough and need somewhere to turn, I would try FOB.

My Chemical Romance
Cancer

If you've ever lost someone to cancer or anything, this is a good song to get all your sadness out to.

The Used
I Found A Name

This song was written by my friend nic for my band. Being in a band saves my life constantly. Anyone, who needs life-saving should try it, because though you may not know it other people may feel the same way you do.

Madina Lake
Here I Stand

There are many, many times in my life when I wanna be anyone but me. This song was written by a great band that's true to their music and I love them.

10 questions with DJ Rossstar

I get a ton of e-mails everyday asking me about my radio show, TV show and Buzznet.

What were my favorite interviews? How did I get started? So many great questions, however I don't always have time to answer everyone right away.

Post a question in the comments along with your name age and location.

I will answer the best 10 in a video and will post it on my video page.

Make them good!

Back in the day: Aqua - "Barbie Girl"

"I'm a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world."

It was the song that played over and over in our heads for most of 1997.  The group was called Aqua and their blend of pop and bubblegum dance music led the Danish-Norwegian group to sell over 28 million albums total with 1997's Aquarium and 2000's Aquarius.

The group were a hit all over the world and their breakthru single "Barbie Girl" even landed them a lawsuit from Mattel for singing about referencing the Barbie doll name without permission.

Click the photo to watch the video for "Barbie Girl"

Aqua, made up of Lene Nystrom, Rene Dif, Soren Rasted and Claus Norreen, split up in 2001.

Where are they now?

Lene, Rene and Soren went on to have successful solo careers while Claus moved on to remixing for other artists.

Lene's album, Play With Me was released in 2003 and compared to her "Barbie Girl" past, the video for "It's Your Duty" may suprise you.

TV Back In The Day - Saved By The Bell: The College Years

It only lasted one season but Saved By The Bell: The College Years did exist.

The College Years featured some of our favorite Saved By The Bell characters (Zack Morris, A.C. Slater Kelly Kapowski and Screech) dealing with college life at California University.

Although the show was quite similiar to Saved By The Bell, it failed to keep people as interested and was cancelled after only 18 episodes.

Do you remember watching this show? Did you enjoy it?

Here is the introduction to Saved By The Bell: The College Years: (note: the theme song is not even close to being as catchy as the Saved By The Bell theme.)

Top ten bands from Long Island

Having grown up in Long Island, New York I spent my high school weekends at local ska shows. As time went by, the rock scene continued to grow until it finally exploded in recent years. Bands from small towns such as Bellmore and Merrick built strong followings and were able to tour across the country. Now the 'Island' is known just as well for it's incredible musicians as it is for people with funny accents.

DJ Rossstar's top ten favorite bands from Long Island:

10. Lights Resolve

9. As Tall As Lions

8. Taking Back Sunday

7. Glassjaw

6. Patent Pending

5. The Movielife

Cartel are accident prone

In Part 2 of Cartel's interview on DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show, Will and Kevin recall their worst wipeouts while performing on stage. The guys reminisce about the 90's TV sitcom Sister Sister, skinny-dipping in high school and even manage to fit in a quick game of truth or dare.

It's all here in this second installment. Let the chuckles continue...

Five songs that changed my life with Kaitrich

Fan Submission

http://kaitrich.buzznet.com/user/

Paramore
Pressure

The very first song I ever heard by Paramore. I heard it about a year ago and added it to my myspace (didn't bother listening to the rest) because I loved the concept. A few nights like, my boyfriend [coincidentally] asked me if I wanted to go see Paramore, CIWWAF, Hit the Lights, and This Providence. I agreed, because a concert's a concert, and fell in love. I've been a dedicated fan ever since and it's been awesome to watch their growth over the past year. Going from a show at a small club to main stage at a sold out warped show, pretty impressive.

Jack's Mannequin
Bruised

I've always been a Jack's fan, but when my boyfriend left for Europe for a month this past June, "Bruised" became my theme song. I listened to it acoustic after dropping him off at the airport, followed by almost every other JM song. Hours pass, and she still counts the minutes that I am not there -- truest words ever for me.

The Sex Pistols
Freak On A Leash

I started reading about the punk era of the 1970's and fell in love with the Sex Pistols...not even their music, but more of what they represented. Then I heard Anarchy and proceeded to buy Never Mind The Bollocks. I own tons of Pistols merch now and I love them.

Blink 182
It's My Life

I listened to this song every morning before school my first two years of high school. It made me want to be a badass. I never was, but I definitely dreamt of it, and sang the song all day, every day. Haha.

Britney Spears
Land Of Confusion

I first found the video while flipping through MTV in fourth or fifth grade. I saw a girl who had a catholic school uniform like mine, and I immediately fell in love. I can safely say I am one of the most devoted fans, as I still support Britney to this day, even if she doesn't make the wisest decisions.

I was born heartbroken

After compiling your appropriately emotastic lyrics, I present to you the longest, most emo song of ALL TIME – “I Was Born Heartbroken.” The fun doesn’t end here. Pick your favorite verse and film yourself singing it (hair covering one eye is strongly suggested). On Wednesday I will pick my favorites and feature them on the Buzznet homepage. Post your videos in the comments.

I Was Born Heartbroken

I cried myself to sleep last night
Why cant you just call and make things right?
On the edge of a bridge is where I stand
A rusty blade in my hand
I watched my life just slip away
And the pain I felt day by day
The only way to shed my woe
Is to watch the blood from my wrists flow
The tears I shed were crimson red
I drowned myself in my bed
Don’t wanna live this life no more
The scars of past are not yet sore
Watch this video message from DJ Rossstar:

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

And as all my hopes had fallen from the sky
All I could do was watch them pass by
Nightmares of what used to be
My love for you, you couldn't see
If I took my life on a dare
It wouldn't matter because no one would care
The blood flows through my veins, only for you
Now it seeps out the slits, from the fate you put my through
I watched the one I love go away
And it left me with the scars I have today
My days are numbered, my friends are few
And all you do is bring girls home to screw
I

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

My hair is crooked and covers my eye
My pants are so tight that I think I might die
With no one here to stop this pain
I'll watch the blood flow like rain
I'll crawl into the black abyss
I am not something that you'll miss
I'm happy for you
I'm jealous too
And I can not handle being near you

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

So as I sink into this deadly sea
I hope you always think of me
Spilt blood from my veins blacken the floor
Wounded you've left me to live nevermore
Someone stole my eyeliner, it just isn't right!
I cried all day and cried all night
Everything I thought I had
Has all just washed away
And all my life I'll blame it on you
For all the pain you put me threw
As my heart dies each and every time
Mascara eyes, tearstained red
Don’t feel like getting out of bed

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?
The world is cold as ice, your heart the same
When will this stop being a game?
My head is blacking out
All thoughts of you abandon me now
This is the day ill die
For you my love is high
I'm forced to give up on this helpless life

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I never meant to make you mad,
It's because I never had a Dad
For just one night could I be you?
I'm sick of watching you have all my dreams come true
I let my hair hang over one eye
So you can't see me when I cry
A last time to make amends
Before this fairy tale will end
And when I cry the tears fall fast
For the love I've had will never last
The cuts on my wrist remind me of the past,
I shall never look back

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad

But still I wait
Knowing you will never come
So pull the trigger
My heart will bleed until your return
Because only for you does my passion burn
As I clear my head, before I go to bed
I think of you and what you said
And I'll watch the soul inside me die
And smile as you can't bring yourself to cry
Even the blood flowing from my veins
Cannot describe my endless pains

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I whitewash all these broken dreams so they blend into the wall
Since I can't have you, I don't want to see anything at all
Staring at the broken glass
You told me these thoughts would pass
And in the corners of my blackened heart
Is where I place the memories of how you tore me apart
I look alive, I'm dead inside
My heart has holes and black blood flows
My nerves for feeling you here are shot
So tell me did you love me or not

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?
It's not you I want to push away
But I need someone to mend my broken heart
To stop my disarray
When I think of all we could have had
I just feel so damn bad
Was it because I was so rad?
Because I was so mad?

Why am I left alone?
Am I so bad?
Am I so wrong?

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I should have never left like that
Now I’m just left with nothing
My life crumbles down as I turned to you
I love you, won't you love me too?
Why? Did I do something wrong, was it something in my past
God I’m so f***ed up to ever think this would last
Let me die in my dream
So I don't wake up to my nightmare
How did I believe you loved me?
I'm so naive to think that I could ever be loved

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I've seen so many faces
But only you who broke me into pieces
The blood is pouring down so slow
Isn't it my time to go?
My porcelain heart broke so many times
So shatter my soul, it's not the worst of your crimes
I’m alone as all can be
I hate this world as all can see
Was I born heart-broken?
And without a doubt
I let the red water come out
My heart shattered
My soul battered
My heart is torn into two
But I only have one piece
The other is with you

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I do nothing but drown in fears
Crying my deep black tears
Loving you made me take the razors away from my wrists
But now how can I ever love again?
I guess it doesn’t even matter how hard I try
Today feels like a good day to die
Fading hearts, fading marks
This is the end of you and me
People around me make me frown
If I was a dog they’d put me down
Smearing your name on my walls
Hate mixed with red as my blood falls
Before I pull this trigger
Your eyes vacant and stained
My life is useless without you
I’m already lifeless, this is what I have to do

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

You tore my heart from side to side
Like the blade to my wrist before I died
And now I cry myself to sleep
Wondering where your feelings are
So every time I fall out of love with you
At the sight of you I fall back into it
This'll never be the same

Your love is synonymous with my pain
But I'll keep trying to love you
But baby it’s not trying I will always love you
Am I that unimportant?
Am I so insignificant?
Mascara bleeds into my eyes
As my heart slowly dies

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

My heart will always beat for him forever
Unless I make it stop beating altogether
Why do people like to make us cry?
Can't they realize they're the ones that make us wanna die?

People tell us stuff and makes us suffer
They just make our lives even tougher
Cut my wrists and scream his name
He's the only one who understands my pain
My life has dimmed
Because of you
Please, please end my pain
Take me today please just pull me away
My blood red heart is melting away
The one I love is gone that's all I can say
When the razor blade rips my skin
You wont believe the world I've arrived in

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I'm strumming my wrist with this razor blade pick....
Four seasons pass your wrists
Copper daggers cross them off the lists
Tonight I feel a part of me dies
One more kiss, no more cries
So I'll push away the tears
No more blood stain t's
Alone and desperate here I stand
Don’t have no more what once I had
The tears of despair fall down my face
The dark winter sky I now embrace
You drive me into madness
You make me want to die
Your shadows on my wall
Make me want to cry

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

As I took one last look into the starry night sky
I slipped under the surface of the freezing black lake
No one will notice that I’m gone
Never to return as I have now passed on
My body lay broken lying on the floor
I’ll never be the same person I was before

Black and red the colors of bruises and blood
Rainbows don’t exist. Neither do unicorns
So paint with these bleeding tears of mine
And take my pain and die tonight
But as much as I hate the way you seem
There are little parts that thug on my heart strings
The deep darkness of my soul, reflects the bleakness of your heart
Tthat which has never known love, only pain by your own hand
I need more care
This bloody blade is giving me a nightmare
My body lay broken lying on the floor
I’ll never be the same person was before

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

With blackness in my heart
By fate we are torn apart
When you died, you took my heart
I will love you forever more
Just know it can't be as before
It feels like life is over now that you've slipped away
But I hope you come to love me as the way I are
Without the love been fake
I've played my part in your lifetime
The curtain falls down on the show
If a dove is a symbol of hope and peace
then I must be your crow
Mascara tears run down my face
Feel like I'm losing all my grace

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

My heart stops dead
Suicidal thought race through my head
I never thought I could hurt this much
Living without you is like a broken leg without a crutch

Oh, I can't go, I can't go on
It's my fate to be wronged

I never thought I’d be this sad
How did things get so bad?

I never thought……..

TV Back In The Day: Charles In Charge

How do you make money while in school?

Charles In Charge was an American sitcom about a 19-year-old college student named Charles who paid the bills by working as a live-in babysitter for the Powell family.

Charles lived downstairs from the Powells but spent much quality time with grandfather Walter, mother Ellen and the children (Jamie, Adam and Sarah.) His good friend Buddy Lembeck was a regular character on the show as well.

The show aired from 1987-1990 on CBS and helped further the careers of Scott Baio and Nicole Eggert.

A little known fact is that Charles In Charge originally aired from 1984-1985 and featured Charles living with a different family. Just like The Neverending Story Part 3 -- ignore it.

The most emo song of all time

My Chemical Romance? Fall Out Boy? HIM? It's a never-ending discussion between Buzznet members as to who writes the most emo music. Together we are going to write the most emo song of all time. I have written the first two lines of the song and all you have to do is write the next two lines in the comments. At the end of the day I will end the song and then Buzznet members will have the chance to record video of themselves singing the song. The best videos will be featured on the main page.

Note: (Please do not comment on other people’s lyrics as it will ruin the flow of the song. Also please limit your part of the song to 1-2 lines)

Rock N Roll Therapy: Brighten

In this Rock N Roll Therapy, Jimmy of Brighten tries to boost the confidence of one Buzznet user who is feeling unattractive and touches on the dangers of meeting people online. Hopefully his advice can help you as well.

Bellamuerte666: So basically I hate the way I look and because of that I do extremely destructive things. since I do these thing that just makes me even more depressed and so I do more. the thing is I know I shouldn't really hate myself as much as I do. I mean at least I'm not as fat as I used to be. basically I lost a lot of weight and I guess I still see my self as that person. because of that when people give me compliments  I still think that they're making fun of me because I guess I'm so used to the criticism and jokes that I can't help it. even worse is that I can't let anyone in the walls that I've put up to protect myself. How can I finally get passed that so that I can finally let people in?

Jimmy: You need to believe in yourself. I know how you feel with all this. You need to gain confidence in yourself. You need to realize that you aren't like everyone else, but that is the best part about you. No one is perfect. It is hard to do, but learning to love your physical imperfections will help you be more confident. God made you the way you are, so embrace it. Take compliments people give you because they mean them. If they are saying that stuff to get you down, then they have something they need to deal with themselves so its your problem not theirs.

Risegrainroses: I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm not depressed, but I'm not happy and I can't seem to be positive about much. I'm doubting everything - What I'm doing with my life, where I'm going later in life, etc. It's driving me nuts that I can't figure everything out and seriously, it's starting to affect everything else in my life. How can I learn to just be okay?

Jimmy: I went through this too for a little bit and still do sometimes. Doubt is pretty natural but I wouldn't think on it too hard if I were you. I don't know how old you are or anything but if you are still in school, then there are lots of ways you can find out what you are interested in. Maybe you don't want to go to school for what you are interested in! First, you have to keep positive about yourself. You have so much potential! Find out what kinds of things you like and learn everything you can about them. Talk to people who do those things. If its something like acting, then get involved in school programs. You can do anything you want to do. Don't worry, you have so much time!

Mcrvampirebat: for the past few years of my life things have really changed. I’ve made friends and lost them. only my best would find out that I’ve been cutting myself for a while. my best and only trusting friend just moved away and now I don’t have anyone to talk to. I want to be able to talk to someone about my problems that Isn’t going to let my parents know what’s happening in my life. what do I do?

Jimmy: Honestly, I think the best thing you can do would be to tell your parents.  I know that sounds really lame of me but getting help for something like that can change your whole entire life.  Losing friends is really hard!  I don't blame you for feeling alone, but in this case getting help for something like that (as completely unserious as it might sound to you, the reasons you might cut could be solved and put to rest if you were to get help with it.

Dorkezoid: Me and my gf have been going out 4 almost 2 months, we had a sudden connection things felt right. We’ve already told each other I love you. in all the relationships I’ve been in I’ve never found love until she came along everything’s been great up until now. she lives in NY i live in CA it was my b-day yesterday she told me a week ago she was gonna come and see me I was very excited we had plans and everything. But when the day actually came I didn’t see her I even went looking 4 her where she said she was @. if she couldn’t come 2 see I would’ve understood but I get this feeling that she was stringing me along. By the time it was 9pm sum of the stuff she was saying didn’t add up it seemed as though she wasn’t in CA @ all. as if I’m just being fucked with and that really hurts idk what 2 do I’m so confused. and so far 2 day she hasn’t txt me or call me which makes me once again believe she’s lying. I really do love her but if I’m right how will I still b able 2 do so? idk exactly what I’m asking 4 here but just an opinion would b awesome.

Jimmy: I would say be careful of who you get close to online.  If you havn't actually met or seen eachother before then it is kind of hard to say whether or not they are telling the truth.  Which is a harsh reality with todays communication methods.  If I were you I would take a closer look at whats going on.

Five songs that changed my life with Juliannelawlz

Fan Submission

http://juliannelawlz.buzznet.com/user/

Green Day
American Idiot

This song, hands down, changed my entire course of growing up. All since I was young, I let my parents make me believe that I was things that I am not. I've been listening to Green Day all of my life, but when this song came out when I bought the CD, I was like 'Woah'. Green Day is my all time favorite band -- ever. This song has so much power and truth, whether people admit it or not.
Mayday Parade
Three Cheers For Five Years

Wow. This song literolly is the story of my LIFE. It's freaking CRAZY. Mayday Parade has the best lyrics of any band I know. This song has so much power and makes me cry every freaking time I hear it. Look at the lyrics. It's just so deep and real.

Anberlin
Paper Thin Hymns

These lyrics kept me alive one night. They make you realize 'Hey. I'm not alone. I'm going to live.' Literoly, this song changed my life. The melody is so darn catchy, too.

Brand New
Soco Amaretto Lime

This is the number one song that changed my life. Simple. Not only am I a sucker for acoustic songs, but this song means more to me than ANYTHING else. The lyrics mean this: You're wanting to be out on your own, but it's not really that easy. It's hard stuff. So enjoy your teenage love and stuff, because life gets harder. This song just hits me EVERY time.

Just like others, I can't have a fifth song. There's way too much to choose from. However, three other bands that have changed my life are Fall Out Boy, Alesana and Sum 41.

Klaxons top five about touring America

It's super exciting for bands from overseas to come and tour through America. Out of all the things Klaxons have seen and experienced in the states, bassist James Righton has created his top five favorite things about touring in America. What are your top five favorite things about America? Post your list in the comments.

1. New York. Best city in the world, it gets better every time we go back.
2. Middle of nowhere bus stops. As some of the drivers are to long to do in one go we often stop off in placed we'd never have gone to otherwise. We've had fun days off in Licoln, Nebraska and Crescent City, California.
3. Matt at Sirius Radio. He's this famous American radio hisc jockey. We see him evert time we come over and he has this broad New York accent and is full of witty anecdotes.
4. US record stores. We always find something new everytime we come over. Also the people who work in record stores in the US are far more helpful than thei British counterparts.
5. We get to see our american friends. It's always nice to meet up with our American friends when on our travels.

Cartel should be comedians

In Part 1 of the DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show interview, Will from Cartel answers the big question: Does he look more like Aaron Carter, Lucas Grabeel or Larry The Cucumber?

The laughs continue througout the interview as Kevin and Will give advice on how to pay your rent while trying to make it in a rock band. They also discuss what happened to the warehouse that was storing the autographed Cartel booklets and what it's like being followed by a family van.

Trust me. You do not want to be drinking while you watch this because you will spit it out!

TV Back In The Day: Singled Out

Years before Wanna Come In?, Date My Mom and NEXT, MTV's hit dating show was Singled Out.

Singled Out was hosted by Chris Hardwick and Jenny McCarthy (later Carmen Electra took over).

The game featured 50 men or women competing for a date with a member of the opposite sex who was blindfolded and could not see the contestants.  Three different rounds (Categories, "Keep 'em or Dump 'em" and The Final Cut) helped narrow down the possible daters to just one. Finally, the blindfold would come off, they would meet each other and their trips and prizes would be revealed.

Singled Out aired from 1995-1998 and dating shows haven't been the same since.

Top ten movies I've walked out on

There are bad movies and then there are bad movies. I'm talking about the ones in which you got up and left before the film was even finished. I could think of at least 30 of these but I managed to narrow the list down to the top ten. Post your list in the comments.

DJ Rossstar's top ten movies I've walked out on:

10. Saw 3
This movie had one of the worst plots ever.

9. Land Of The Dead
Fans waited over ten years for this installment of the "Dead" series and it was terrible. CGI zombies = not good.

8. Scary Movie 4
Not funny. Why would I see this after Part 3?

7.  The Ring 2
One of the most disappointing sequels of all time.

6. The Grudge 2
I don't think I've even fallen asleep during a horror movie until this one.

5. Date Movie
Didn't laugh once-- literally.

4. Problem Child 3
I remember being 13 and asking my dad to take me home half way through.

3. Tremors
Sandworms? Ripping off Beetlejuice? Kevin Bacon? This movie is a mess.

2. Lawnmower Man
Horror/Sci-fi movie that should have never been.

1. Napoleon Dynamite
Sorry kids. I just didn't "get it."

Rock N Roll Therapy: Melee

In this Rock N Roll Therapy, Ricky of Melee gives advice so detailed and profound, you would think he has a degree in Psychology. Make sure you check out his tips on how to reduce stress.

Ricky: I suggest that you should start living life for yourself. Try to detatch yourself from a physical/superficial world, and let your innersoul come to life. You don't need to be worried about what other people think of yourself, even that new person that you're trying to shape yourself to be is tailor fit to be accepted by the same people that have teased and criticized you. You need to discover who you are, accept and love that person. The minute that you can really be happy with yourself will be the minute that you will be able to look in the mirror and really see who you are, not what people have made you to be.
