Filming a Reailty Show Pilot - Dreams Do Come True

Five years ago I started my radio show because of my love of music. I was sick and tired of watching interviewers ask the same pre-planned questions and knew that I could do it differently. This would allow the listeners to get to see a different side of their favorite musicians.

Five years later I have made my dreams come true. I run my own radio show from the comfort of my own apartment in Los Angeles and have some of my favorite bands stopping by to be a part of it all.

For the next seven days, a camera crew will document every moment of my life for a reality pilot. This does not mean that I will definitely be on television. However, once edited, they will be able to pitch it to a bunch of networks.

I am interested in your ideas.

Aside from the actual radio show itself — what else would you want to see on my show?

Thanks for all the support so far! This opportunity is truly amazing!

Does It Offend You, Yeah? Singer Can Thank Beck for Broken Bed: Behind Closed Doors

Does It Offend You, Yeah? have accomplished quite a lot in their two years as a band — they released their debut album, You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into, in March; toured with The Cribs on the NME Awards Tour; and will perform this weekend at Coachella. Not bad for a British electro-rock band that got its name from an episode of "The Office" (The British version, to be exact!) More.

What's New With DJ Rossstar?

It's been a while since I've sent you a real letter instead of an advertisement for my radio show. I wanted to update you on what's been going on with DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show  and myself since I signed with One Moment Management.

As you may have noticed, the past 2 months I have been trying to expand the listenership of my radio show by bringing in new guests that might not fit the 'punk' mold. The Veronicas, Hyper Crush, J0HNNY, Millionaires  and Shwayze all brought something new and interesting to the show and I hope to continue to expand my roster of guests. I hope everyone is okay with this decision. There are only so many rock bands I can interview in a given year!

I have been going on a ton of meetings lately but I never mention the names of the people/companies I meet with because I don't want to ruin my chances for success. I am working as hard as I can to bring myself and my radio show to your television screen by the end of this year / start of next year. It's definitely not as easy as many of you may think! I can tell you that I am filming a pilot w/ a company at the end of April for a possibly reality show about my life!

You can still catch me hosting Havoc on the 101 on DirecTV channel 101 even Monday night from 11pm-3am PST / 2am-6am EST and can read my daily music blogs / watch my video interviews on my Buzznet page.

Those are the big updates I wanted to share with you. I have some great guests coming on my show in the next few weeks and if you have any suggestions for future guests, feel free to let me know!

Keep spreading the word about the show. The bigger YOU make it, the bigger it will become.

Catch DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show every Wednesday and Thursday night from 7-8pm PST / 10-11pm EST on Idobi Radio.

DJ Rossstar's Punk Rock Show - Upcoming Guests

4.24: Koopa
